phew I have been so busy lately...
yesterday I think I went from 9 to 10:30..yikes that is am to pm...
I skipped my 9 am and worked on my Wal-Mart paper, I didn't come near finishing but I had to give up so I could go to my Culture of India class..I have final in that on Thursday so I had to make it. After Culture of India I ate lunch and did my Cold War homework. Then I went to Cold War and I think I did okay on the "suprise" reading quiz. After Cold War I went to the library and typed up my comments for thesis. Then I went to Thesis, it was about an hour and a half so it wasn't so bad, and my paper didn't get ripped apart too much. Then I went home to organize a few things and headed back out an hour later...in the pouring rain...to the library to work on the LIM article with Zineb. It was pouring so bad all day yesterday. We worked on the article for about an hour and a half, and then I went to a lecture on "Agriculture as National Defense: The Cuban Experience." The ideas were really interesting about sustainable agriculture and how politics made Cuba have to develop after the fall of the Soviet Union, but I was not a big fan of the speaker. I may go to the conference in Feb. though, it seemed like some interesting stuff. After the lecture, I went to type it up as a cultural event at the library then returned to VonRealBig for a Pax-O meeting. My first, that is peace and conflict orgnization for the non juniatians, it seemed like fun except for the exhausting democratic process used to limit the t-shirt slogan options...I am all in support of democratic processes and open minded organizations, but this was just too much. I'll still go again though. So after Pax-O I finally headed home around 10:30. I got home and did my spanish homework, and helped my roomates wrestle with a couple of people for a lamp...long story..I also got to organize the room, which helped me clear my head, and got to bed around 2 ish..which isn't so bad.
Today I was supposed to wake up at 8 and woke up at 8:40... I stumbled out of bed and wrote a hasty abstract for thesis, and walked as fast as possible to my 9:30 meeting with Sowell, I did not get there until 9:45. oops I expected him to not like my thesis rough draft, but not as much as he didn't like it...grr... i also discovered that by citing Wikipedia I encouraged Sowell to give me 2 new books...hehe yay for new books!! So, it was a little disheartnening having my paper ripped apart, but I will recover and move on,and hopefully my paper will get better...I have to get to work over break and next semester. (it does make me nervous for sitting down with paula about my Wal-mart paper) Anywho, then I went to Spanish ( I know I made it today) and Civil War, ate lunch and read, and went to work for a couple hours and worked on that article. Now I am home, getting ready for the night... I have a final in India tommrow, and a quiz in Arch I have to make up, besides that I need to complete my NCUR application for Wal-Mart and email the history profs about Skulldiggers....I can't wait until this semester is over...
